This is a documentary storytelling edit of a rock climber named Matt Rogers. He is describing his process before each climb, his love for rock climbing and nature.
There's no fixed script for such a project. The recording team captures footage from multiple areas and interviews the person about their experience. We then have to find a story among the footage and create a Radio edit, followed by a Rough and Final cut. A good amount of dialogue fixing was required, like removing stutters and repetitions, and finding video footage that matches the dialogue was an interesting challenge. Completed in December 2024.
